NSW Air Conditioning Rebate

The NSW Government’s Energy Savings Scheme may provide an upfront discount when you install a new eligible, energy-efficient air conditioner or replace an older system. The discount is applied to your installation quote. The amount depends on the air conditioner, your location and the work required, so we’ll confirm what’s available for your circumstances before you proceed.

Some NSW postcodes may also qualify for a larger, temporary discount through the Safeguard Acceleration Program. Availability depends on your address, the program’s current funding and requirements, and the eligible system selected.


 

Check if you’re eligible
 

You may qualify if you:
 

• Live in NSW or operate a small business in NSW.

• Are installing a new eligible air conditioner or replacing an existing system with a more energy-efficient model.

• Meet the requirements of the applicable program.

• Complete the required paperwork before installation begins.
   

For the larger postcode-based discount, you must also meet that program’s location and property requirements. Having an existing energy-efficient air conditioner may affect your eligibility.
 

How to get started
 

1. Contact Moore Air Cooling & Heating to discuss your address, existing system and cooling needs.

2. We’ll check which program may apply and confirm whether your chosen system and installation appear to meet its requirements.

3. Review your quote to see the discount, installation costs and total amount payable.

4. Complete the required paperwork before work starts.

5. Arrange your installation once the system and discount have been confirmed.
